It was reported by the Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture that the total number of Architecture board examinees reached 1, 561. The PRC gave the Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) in Manila, on June 26 and 28, 2009.

There are almost equal numbers of first-time examinees and repeat takers for this LEA. Some examinees are B.S. Architecture graduates from as far back as the late or mid-1980s. The youngest takers are from the October 2007 batch. A number of applications have been recently dispproved by the PRBoA for failing to satisfy the minimum required 3,840 hours of apprentice work i.e. diversified experience in architecture (DEA).

Results will be released before July 28, 2009.
