It was announced by the Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture that the results of the January 15 and 17 2010 Licensure Examination for Architects / Architecture Board Exam, administered by the PRC at 4 test sites in the Metropolitan Manila Area i.e. the January 2010 Manila LEA, shall be released by the PRC sometime on the evening of Tuesday, 26 January 2010.

Over 1,100 examinees (apparently a record number) took the January 2010 Manila LEA, considered a historic event for the separate, State-regulated profession of architecture, as its Architectural Design and Site Planning subject (the "Subject", comprising 40% of the LEA), was first administered in the country on 17 January 2010 as a NON-drafting examination i.e. requiring non-graded sketching and drawing for answer selection for about half of the 150-question set.

For the Subject, 6 areas of basic architectural knowledge were tested i.e. 1) compliances (with planning and building laws); 2) site planning; 3) space planning; 4) architectural design; 5) structural conceptualization; and 6) architectural interiors.
